Insurance and love are not two words you would expect to hear in the same sentence, It’s this that makes Spire unique. As a home emergency insurance specialist, Spire believe customers should be taken care of. They are dedicated to delivering a brilliant service at a great price, summed up in their brand promise, “Insurance that loves you back.”
I was approached by Spire to help create an identity for their brand that would reflect their values and position them as the straight talking, friendly alternative to their competitors.
A no nonsense approach to design and typography was utilised. For the logotype I created a subliminal symbol of a home by slightly adjusting the letter ‘E’ to simply show a pitched roof. I then opted for an adventurous new colour way within the sector, with subtle tones adding a real warmth to the brand, reinforcing Spire’s wholehearted commitment to friendly and helpful customer service.
